Language stays

For beginners as well as for advanced participants.

According to a recent survey from the « Organisation International de la Francophonie » (the international Organisation for French-speaking countries, february 2007), « over 200 million people speak french all over the world ».

Learning French during a stay, in order to discover Burgundy and its culture, here is the simple concept that Ethic Etapes Dijon offers foreign groups.In partnership with the « Centre International des Etudes Françaises » (the International Centre for French),

which supplies groups with the required number of French teachers, the Ethic Etapes Dijon department dealing with groups, advise and help the group leaders as to the organisation of their programmes : sightseeing, visits, excursions, meeting other groups, etc...

The half-day French classes are usually attented in our own rooms.

In the evening, activities such as debates in French, videos, discos,... can be organised if booked in advance.

If you plan such a stay, an estimate will be drawn by our services if required.

During the French classes, the following four skills, defined by the European requirements, will be studied :

- writte understanting
- oral understanding
- writte expression
- oral expression

To test the participants' level on arrival, evaluation tests-can be taken.
Regular knowledge assessments or final tests can be organized as well.
